12 Oct. 1812–4 Mar. 1896. Born in Westford, Chittenden Co., Vermont. Daughter of Ezekiel Johnson and Julia Hills. Moved to Canadaway (later Fredonia), Chautauque Co., New York, 1813. Presbyterian. Likely baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, fall 1831, in Pomfret, Chautauque Co. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, spring 1833. Married first Samuel H. Prescott, 16 Oct. 1836, in Geauga Co. Moved to Mentor, Geauga Co., by 1838. Moved to Ramus (later Webster), Hancock Co., Illinois, ca. 1840. Plural wife of JS, sealed between Apr. and May 1843. Married third Reuben Barton, 16 Nov. 1845. Lived in Nauvoo, 1850. Moved to what became Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa, before winter 1852. Resided in Crescent, Pottawattamie Co., 1860. Separated from husband, ca. 1861. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, 1861. Moved to Parowan, Iron Co., Utah Territory, 1862. Died in Parowan.
